Use Case

Build the internal tools your team actually needs

Most growing companies are running their operations on a pile of spreadsheets, shared docs, and one Notion page that one person maintains. Internal tools are the highest-leverage software you'll ever build, and the easiest to keep putting off.

The problem

Your ops team needs a way to see all open jobs in one place. Finance needs a dashboard that doesn't lie. Customer success needs a real way to pull customer data without bothering engineering. Right now they each have a workaround. Each workaround takes 30 minutes a day. Multiply by your headcount and you can see the cost.

What we build

  • Operational dashboards that pull live from your existing systems
  • Admin panels for support, ops, finance, and customer success teams
  • Approval and review tools to replace email and spreadsheet workflows
  • Bulk-edit and data-management tools that don't require engineering
  • Internal AI assistants that answer questions about your own data
  • Role-based access so the right people see and edit the right things

A real example

An operations team was tracking jobs across 4 tools and a spreadsheet. We built a single internal app that pulled from all of them, added approval flows, and gave the ops lead one screen to run the day from. Ops capacity per person went up roughly 2×.

Frequently asked questions

Do we own the code?

Yes. You own the codebase, the infrastructure, and the documentation. We hand over cleanly so any future engineer can extend it.

Can your tools talk to our existing systems?

Yes. Internal tools are mostly integration work. We connect to your CRM, database, finance system, support tool, and whatever else holds the data the tool needs.

Why not just use Retool / Airtable / a no-code tool?

If a no-code tool is genuinely the right answer, we'll tell you. We often build the first version on top of one. We get called in when the no-code version stops scaling, breaks, or can't do the thing the team actually needs.

How do you decide what to build first?

We usually start with the most expensive recurring pain, the workflow that costs your team the most hours per week, and ship that first.
